Rose Tyler
Standing at the side of the Valeyard
When her son died, the Tyler's were devastated by his loss, especially considering how young he had been. The Metacrisis was at her side for this, and she believed him when he told her that he was sorry for her loss.
When the virus escaped and wiped out humanity in a few short years, Rose was happy he decided to help. When he revealed the truth of what he had done, she was shocked and horrified that 'the Doctor' would ever fall so far and chased after him to demand his aid in reversing it. She vanished.
When the Fifteenth Doctor appeared in Pete's World, the Metacrisis brought Rose as a hostage in the face off between the two of them, and revealed the truth of the newest Doctor as not being the Doctor at all but his granddaughter Susan. Rose was then taken back with the newly renamed Valeyard in his TARDIS as they both returned to the Prime Universe.
Once there, she was horrified to find out that his intention was to break the Weave enough to be allowed back to a pre-War Gallifrey by assassinating a younger version of the Doctor, one from before the Last Great Time War. When that plan was foiled by the Doctor, and after the Valeyard was murdered by River Song by being shot through the back and chest, Rose went back to Cardiff with Gwen Cooper to be naturalized back into the Prime Universe.
Rose explained her disappearance as, when she thought both parents dead, that she had simply left everything behind to travel again, and explained her new military skills and education as learned from joining UNIT. Sir Alistair helped her fill in the necessary details and spoke on her behalf saying that she worked under his direct command in dangerous and secret operations across the globe.
Eventually, she thanked Sir Alistair but decided to join Alex Campbell in the 23rd century.
